Sew-N-SewsWanted - beginner and expert seamstresses, knitters or crochers! This new group is forming for a new community project to create items needed for our cold weather shelter guests and other targeted organizations. Feel free to bring your personal needlecraft projects as well). Questions? Contact Sherry Vilkmar at 410-372-7825. The group will meet the 2nd Monday of each month in the church conference room. Donated coats are also appreciated as part of this project. | ||
WANTED!New and gently used jackets and coats for the men, women and children of our cold-weather shelter. These coats and jackets will also be donated to various targeted organizations as well. Place jackets and coats on the coat rack located in the storage room (across from the Sunday School room). WANTED!New or like-new Christmas gift bags big enough for two coffee mugs and a pound of coffee. Place Christmas gift bags in the "big" bag located in the church lobby. Bags will be used for fundraiser for the Habitat for Humanity. | ||
Community OutreachPlease make donations for Trinity's Outreach Program. We support homeless families a
nd single woman who are served at the emergency shelter facility located at Grassroots in
Columbia and at the transitional housing program at The Miles House in Ellicott City.
The list of items needed for donations is posted on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall.
Place all donations in the boxes located in the nursery (next to the ladies room).

for Grassroots, contact them directly at the Crisis Intervention Center at (410) 531-6006. Thanks for your support.
Please drop off bags of groceries for FISH at the front of the altar of the church
before services on the first Sunday of each month to help the needy. Groceries
desperately needed include dry milk, pancake mix, Jell-o, peanut butter, jelly, applesauce,
canned fruit, canned vegetables, stew, ravioli, cereal, tuna fish, spaghetti, toilet paper,
toothpaste, dish soap, laundry detergent, bath soap, deodorant, and baby powder. The Howard County Cold Weather Shelter -- a collaborative partnership of Howard County Government, the faith community, and non-profit agencies, is seeking donations of the following items for the 2007 Season: - Toothpaste (20 family-size tubes)- Toothbrushes (20) - Deodorant (20) - Foot powder (10) - Razors (10 packs) - Shaving cream (15) - Over-the-counter medications - Tylenol, Ibuprofen, cold medicines, Pepto Bismal, Benadryl, etc. (2 each) - Feminine hygiene products (variety) - White tube socks (several packs) - Men's underwear - boxers and briefs (several packs in all sizes) - Women's panties (several packs in all sizes) - Hand towels -preferably white (10) GRASSROOTS needs the following items: Large Diapers (boys/girls), Twin Sheet Sets, Pillows and Bath Towels. All new items please. Place all donations for Trinity's Outreach Program in the boxes located in the nursery (next to the ladies room). Monthly schedule provided in the red book in the office.Any member of our church who notices items in need of repair and/or replacement, please notify Scott Wren, Junior Warden, in writing.
